Police telephone numbers
PLEASE - only call the police on either 101 or 999. Do not call on any other number.
- 101 for non-emergencies
- 999 for emergencies
There are concerns that some older police telephone numbers, such as 01522 532222, are being spoofed. This means criminals can make it appear as though they are calling from a genuine police number, which can be used as part of police officer impersonation fraud.
